The three biggest purchases that you will make for your truck is beans, syrups and milks. Those are the three that I’m going to focus on.
Beans
Syrups
My most popular syrups in order are: Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, White Chocolate, Chai and Sugar Free Vanilla.
I currently like Torani for most my syrups. I used to like DaVinci, but they’ve really tanked over the years. But I use different syrups for different recipes. Personally it’s a pain to order inventory, but it allows me to have the best drinks.
Caramel for Lattes: Torani Sea Salt Caramel
Caramel for Frappes: Guittard Caramel
Chocolate for Mocha: Both Torani Sauce and Guittard Dark Chocolate are amazing.
Vanilla: DaVinci is my fav. But homemade vanillas are super easy to make: Simple syrups are 1:1 ratio of sugar and water. Mix just under boiling water with equal sugar and stir until dissolved. Then add Vanilla extract to taste. Super easy.
White Chocolate: Monin has the best White Chocolate as far as I’m concerned.
Chai Tea Concentrate: Torani won this one.
Sugar Free Vanilla: Torani Again .
Milk
I still get my milk from Costco. No hormones, fairly inexpensive and always available.
Their oatmilk is decent too. Although Oatly and Planet Oat have great oatmilks as well.
eBook Drop
I’m going to shamelessly advertise my eBook here because I’ve taken the time to breakdown all the cost of goods formulas, find the cheapest cups online and use them to generate a spreadsheet so you know your inventory cost. That lone is worth the cost of the book.
